What kind of dish washer are you?

What type of dish washer are you. Are you the type that cook suppper, clean the dishes and then, and only then are able to enjoy supper. Or are you the type that is content to cook supper (or bake) enjoy, and deal with the dishes later? Also, are you a dish dryer, or do you prefer to let them just air dry?

I usually park my car in a spot that is not technically a parking stall. It isn't numbered it's just a gap that can generously fit two cars in it. I figure since all the other residents use the visitor parking stalls for there extra cars, there should be no problem with me using this empty spot in the parking lot. I mean there is no other concievable usage for it. So the other day I walk out of the building and I hear this lady telling this other women (who might be in charge of something, i'm not sure) about these cars that always park in a place where there is not supposed to be parking. She is pointing right at MY car! I just keep on listening as I walk towards my car and she continues to say that it is supposed to be a path way, blah blah. I could not believe it. There is more then enough room for people to get through to the path. AND if you haven't noticed the path doesn't even go all the way to the parking lot. I cannot believe how people can be so petty. I could understand if there was a valid reason, and would be happy to move my car.

Married life...

I've realized that I am truly settling into being married. There are some signs:

1. I like, actually love, to shop at stores like Homesense
2. I'd rather spend money on stuff for my home rather then clothes
3. I exchange recipes with my sister...
4. More times then not, I'd rather stay at home on a Friday night.
5. We have company on Sunday afternoons.
6. I've started quilting

Prison Break

I have to admit, I am ADDICTED to Prison Break. I borrowed the 1st season DVD's from a friend at work. Eric and I watched them WAY to much. That is a good show. Has anyone seen it? ANyone watch it? It's one of the shows you MUST start from the beginning. I recommend to everyone go rent the 1st season dvds.

Belated Farewell

I apologize for being so late in my farewell to my dear sister Sara. She departed 2 weeks ago to Abbotsford to attend Bible School. I hear she is doing well and loves her roomate, but that's all I know. She'll be back at Thanksgiving and I can't wait to hear about it. Goodluck Sara! We miss you!

August 25-26, 2007

Next year, I am doing the "weekend to end breast cancer" in Vancouver. It's a 60km walk over 2 days. (yikes, i better start training!). You have to raise 1000 dollars to enter. A lady from my work did it in edmonton and loved it. I am so excited. Anybody with me??

JUNK! but then again not...

Moving and packing was such a BIG ordeal. I threw out so much stuff, yet, still I am stuck with boxes of" in-between". Stuff I won't use but can't throw out. Eric has a box or two of this same stuff. It makes our extra room look like a junk room, but i dont know what to do with it!! Can anyone relate to this feeling? I will give you an example, Teddy, my beloved bear from when i was a baby. What do I do with Teddy ??

A New Hobby

I decided to embark on a new hobby..... Quilting! Yes, I know, you would never think that I would be quilting, but I love it! I got taught by the group home Grandma. I went to her house this morning and I made 4 lovely placemats. They are all a little different. (the patterns are in a different order on each and each back is one of the prints. They are great and I love them! I am totally inspired.
